FREE Church Security and Active Shooter Awareness Training this month

In the aftermath of the horrific church shooting in Texas, the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office (DCSO) is taking proactive steps to ensure houses of worship are safe and secure.     

The DCSO has teamed up with the Douglas County Board of Commissioners and the Black Police Officer’s Association of Omaha (BPOA) to offer a FREE one-day church security and active shooter awareness training.

The training will be held February 24, 2018 at Northwest High School Auditorium, 8204 Crown Point Avenue in Omaha, from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

This is a brown bag training seminar, please plan to bring a sack lunch.
