In general, Deputy Sheriffs perform field and office duties as uniformed or non-uniformed officers.

Essential Functions:

  • Conduct general patrol and respond to calls for service
  • Conduct investigations
  • Serve court orders
  • Deliver court testimony
  • Apply in-custody management
  • Maintain safety of self and others in all situations
  • Develop and make presentations on a variety of topics as needed
  • Maintain public building and courtroom security
  • Perform other related duties as assigned
