Any person subject to the Sex Offender Registration Act (Per Neb Â§ 29-4003) is required to reportÂ in personÂ to the Nebraska State Patrol Troop A Headquarters, 4411 S. 108th St, within three (3) working days after becoming subject to the Act.Â If a sex offender has moved to the State and has never registered in the State of Nebraska, they must appear at a NSP Troop Headquarters within three business days of arrival in the state.
All changes of information, periodic verifications and 30 day transient updates must be doneÂ in person at the Douglas County Sheriff's Office (See locations and hours below).

Effective August 19, 2014, the Douglas County Sheriffâ€™s Office will hold limited Sex Offender Registration hours at the Sheriffâ€™s Office, Court Services Bureau.Â Hours will be scheduled on Tuesdays and Thursdays, 9:00AM â€“ 11:00AM ONLY. Â Absolutely no registrations will be accepted outside of these hours.
The Court Services Bureau is located on the south-east corner of the Douglas County Jail Building at 1616 Leavenworth St.

Nebraska Sex Offender Registry website. This website allows the user to search a database for all sex offenders registered in Nebraska.
Dru Sjodin National Sex Offender Public website. This website allows the user to search a national data base for registered sex offenders registered with participating state sex offender registries.
