National Meth Awareness Day
The U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) has announced that Thursday, November 30, will be designated National Methamphetamine (Meth) Awareness Day, and recently launched a website with a comprehensive educational presentation on the dangers of the drug.
The website includes information to assist states and communities that want to get involved in the effort, including links to the local U.S. Attorney's Office and the Drug Enforcement Administration Field Office to collaborate about events on National Meth Awareness Day.
It also contains links to organizations and community coalitions that can provide further assistance, such as:
- Community Anti-Drug Coalitions of America
- Partnership for Drug Free America
- Drug Free Communities
